Week 12/13/14

The past few weeks have not only been challenging but also exhausting, with everything that has been going on in the world it has been a real struggle to find motivation for my project. I have had to defer my hand in date due to my medication being changed around effecting both my mood and my mental state.

Over the past few weeks, there have been nurmours changes to my project in regard to feedback which I have gained from tutors and friends and family. Some of the major changes have come in the form of cleaning up the entire topology in various different places on the car along with remodeling of several key areas that were riddled with topology issues along with being inaccurate to the original reference that I was working from.

Some of the changes that I have made is increasing the profile of the roofline on the car to be more accurate, I also pulled in the rear bumper slightly at the sides to make the angle more realistic. Another big change came with the boot not only reshaping the boot to match the original reference but also adding a slight curve back on itself on the top half of the boot.

Another change that occurred was making the rear passenger windows sharper to keep it more in line with the reference instead of the slight slope I originally had. Other changes included revisiting the wheel arches of the car and making these the same width all the way around along with adjusting the slope I originally had in the arches furthermore I increased the sharpness of some of the bevels just above the exhaust along with one on the front bumper to make this more inline and make the flow of the car much better.

Changes which are still to do:

Continue the contour over the front wheel vent.

Make the area around the front lights sharper.
